Zoe

Hello, I'm Zoe! I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education- Secondary at the University of Alberta, majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Art. As you can probably guess I have a strong foundation in Mathematics, but I am also comfortable teaching physics of any level as well.

I’ve always loved learning and by extension I also loved helping others learn as well. In high school, I regularly helped my friends with their homework, and I spent a lot of time doing community focused volunteering where I worked with children from all types of backgrounds. This summer, I built on that experience by working at a STEM-focused summer camp, primarily by supporting campers through hands-on activities and problem-solving.

I believe that everyone learns differently, and finding the approach that works best for each student is the key to learning effectively and building confidence. My goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their understanding at their own pace, with a teaching approach tailored to their educational needs.

In my free time you can find me reading or creating digital art, and I’m always looking for a good book recommendation! ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ
