Hello! My name is Tahreem, and I am an International Medical Graduate (IMG). I grew up in Calgary, Alberta and after high school I completed my double Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) abroad. I have experience working in multiple hospitals and areas of medicine. Since moving back to Calgary, I have continued gaining experience in the Canadian healthcare system.

I understand that studying can sometimes feel stressful, especially when there is so much information to learn. Trust me I know! I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand pieces and creating a comfortable fun space where questions are always welcome. I also believe that feeling stressed or having high expectations can actually be an honor. It shows that others believe in your abilities and trust you to succeed. It can also be a sign that you are challenging yourself, growing, and stepping outside your comfort zone. While pressure can feel overwhelming, it can also remind us that we are capable of more than we think. My goal is not only to help you understand challenging topics, but also instill a strong sense of confidence in yourself and your abilities. 

Outside of medicine, I enjoy volunteering, playing video games (Final Fantasy and Tekken are my favorite!), experimenting with makeup and hairstyling! I am excited to meet you, support you through your learning journey, and help make studying feel less daunting of a task. Together we can do it!
